Rotary Transplant to MX-3

hey, me and my friend do a little work on rotaries, and i was wondering if it would be possible to put a rotary engine (say a 13b turbo II) into like an Mazda MX-3, or another little car, Rotary Performance, and really cheap car:D

any help would be highly appreciated

thanks, Ted

Not if you want it to be front wheel drive.

You would be better off swapping a J-spec KLZE 2.5(i think thats the engine) into it. 250HP and its basically bolt in.

cool

really, that would be awsome, where can i pick up that engine and how much is it?

Let me add something here. If you have the 1.8L V6 its a fairly straight forward swap. I'm not sure about the 4cyl trans. The site I'm thinking about doesn't seem to be working. I'm thinking Corksports did the swap and sold the engines for it. Search the web and also try the Probe/MX-6. They might point you toward an engine. They can do the same type of swap. Its easier on their cars. More room.

Here you go.

And one small correction. The KL ZE engine is about 200HP.

yea, id really only be looking at the V6 MX-3s so that works out nicely, thanks alot. i actually went to cork sports for parts for an RX but never thought about that for an MX-3
