Rotary performance tuning books

Are there any books or printed literature on tuning a rotary engine? I have 2 rexs, an 87 and a 94 both of which are in the building process and am looking for anything helpful as far as a/f mixtures, compression for certain applications(bigger turbos, nitrous, racing modded rotars/porting), engine rebuilds, tranny rebuilds and other perf issues. Ive already built quite a few big blocks, but I think getting all that hp from such a small engine is a lot more fun and challenging.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Mazdatrix offers a book on all RX7 models entitled "Mazda RX-7 Performance Handbook" that is pretty good. It doesn't get into a whole lot of detail, but does describe some of the history of these cars and modifications for various racing classes (SCCA and ITA). I've found a few errors in the book, however, and if you know what you're doing this book doesn't add a lot. Some of the Haynes manuals on performance vehicle tuning may be good, but they're not Mazda specific.

If you're building these cars for the street, definitely look at some of the RX-7 specific books out there, as they will list manufacturers of parts that can help you complete your car. Good luck,
