required stuff to test vac and pressure?

One of those $20 testers from sears and what else...?

What do I need to pump the air?

I think sears sells a thingy that can pump air as well as test vaccuum..its costs like $49 or something though.

Funny: Sounds like something you'd order out the back of a dirty mag.

Seriously: How much they run?

Found this for $20, but I see no way to pump air.

I have a small electric compressor...one of those emergency road kit deals.

Can I hook it up to this Sears testor, then the new boost gauge to see if it is reading/calibrated right?

You could, but you'll blow something up pretty fast. Get Mity-Vac, it's a little handheld thing that can be set to pump pressure or suck vacuum. Has a little guage on it too.

Cool...so if you spend a little more to get the mighty vac you get the pump and a vac / pressure gauge....would not need to spend another $20 at Sears.
