reliability
hi. what is your opinion on the best way to turn a fd into a decent car in terms of reliability. im probably not going to be driving it every day once i go off to college, but its still going to be my only car so i need it to be pretty reliable. i dont want to be popping my motor here and there. should i stick with the rotary and try to go with a more reliable single turbo or something? or should i just go with a ls1? or maybe something else that im not thinking of? also let me get this clear, i dont mean to make this a ls1 vs. rotary thread, things like "taking out the rotary is blasphemy" or "the ls1 is 10x faster" dont matter to me. im asking about the best/cheapest way to go strictly for reliability. thanks for your suggestions.

read the faqs for reliability mods on the 3rd gen section https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/ also, fd shouldn't be a daily driver, although many people do it (including me) |
