I fell asleep ~45 minutes into the R&R video by BT....
|
never seen a mechanical video or been to school where i wasn't drowsy within the first hour, it's just the nature of the beast. i prefer to get my hands dirty, as do most of us i'm sure. :)
most of all mechanics is common sense, hell most of anything in the world is common sense. if you have that you can do just about anything if you put the time/effort into it. |
speaking of rebuilds, i just finished putting my half bridge together.
s4 irons s5 rotor housings s6 stationaries, rotors, and flywheel 3mm apex seals solid corner seals race oil control ring springs--and i actually got new carriers for this one shimmed oil relief valve and oil pressure regulator half bridge and pretty much race exhaust ports--massive overlap 62-1 turbo, 1.15 divided p-trim hot side 680 primary, 1600 secondary injectors haltech e6k jumbo npr intercooler mustang racing radiator, taurus e-fan rb underdrive main pulley and some kind of double alt. pulley 400 should come easy, but i wanna try to hit 450 rwhp :) |
wow! monster machine!
|
that's my commuter car ;)
|
Is the video really that boring where almost everyone falls asleep within 20 minutes? haha I wonder how long I'll last when I watch it.
|
i wanna make a rebuild tape but i'm afraid i'll forget some major detail and embarrass myself. :p:

If this is true, then why does there seem to be so many professional rotary shops producing crap rebuilds? |
i've also seen some nasty porting--from "name brand" shops too. it's scary sometimes.
