questions on my 1983 rx7
 

I just got a 83 rx7 that has a poped freezeplug the previous owner said. i was wondering where they would be at. if they are not popped what would be the most common place that some thing would break when it froze

If the Engine froze your looking at a hole mess of gaskets that are going to leak.
If your main coolant ring gasket's were compramised then its rebuild time.

Do you get any coolant out your tailpipe?

Is it leaking near your oil filler tube?

Can you get it started?

i do not know yet i have not had a chance to try yet when i find out i will let you know

Losing a freeze plug is extremely rare. I have seen them rust through, but not pop. If it is a plug, it will leak out of the rear of the engine, them come out of the bell housing of the tranny, or it will leak out the front iron and fill the oil pan.

Check the oil, if good, fill the cooling system with water and check for leaks. If water isn't pouring out, the leak is elsewhere. More than likely, either intake o-rings are shot, or the PO blew a collant seal.
