Q: dual thermostat?
Hi!
I have 2 thermostates in my 13B-RE (jc cosmo) engine. The first opens at 97C. The second opens at 82C. The channel of second thermostat is wider than the first. The second channel has vacuum actuator. The ECU runs a solenoid witch runs actuator. A water flows trough the second thermostate if the actuator is open. Who would describe how it works? Thanks. |
Wow, Moscow. :)
I can't think of any reason there should be a thermostat that opens at 97C on any rotary engine, there should never be any coolant that hot in the system, maybe someone who knows J-spec engines could tell you. Sounds really odd though. |
