Pulsation Damper hell - The easiest fix !

I had so much grief from this thing, but nothing matched the fear I had driving home 10 miles with a leak spewing from the front of my fuel rail (GSL-SE). I drove with a fire extinguisher in the front seat. A visit to Crazy Rays on Saturday morning I came across a very battered looking 86 (second gen.) I performed the dead car ritual and looked over the fuel rail. Luckly for me, some one had already removed the upper manifold. (I guess to get the injectors out). Ok so now Im looking and looking and I see a great condition pulsation damper. Oh. ON the opposite side of the same rail is a Banjo Bolt that is EXACTLY what I wish I had and what I had paid 40 bucks (after shipping and adding a Summit Fender cover to the order for one shipped from summit saturday morning.) OK so I take the banjo off and the crush washers and to make a long story short get that banjo bolt, get some generic crush washers and throw it on . NO more pulsation damper, and now I can see how easily I can upgrade the fuel lines to AN-6 maybe. Next on the way out is the GSL-se fuel pump/regulator setup. I think I need a 3-5 psi increase on the pressure and Im just tired of the funky connectors at this point. Ahhh.. Needed to vent. Thanks!

Hugh
