Precision Tune Auto Fuel Injection System Service

http://www.precisiontune.com/services/fuel.html

Anyone know how this compares to removing the injectors and having them tested and cleaned by a specialist? I'm guessing it doesn't come close...

Also, if I decide to ship the injectors (cruzinperformance.com?) how much time should a shop bill me to remove and later install all injectors?

The vehicle is '87 NA RX7.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

From looking at that site, it doesn't say much about the actual service they will be performing. I personally have used Cruzinperformance to do my injectors. I was satisfied with the information provided by their web site discribing the service they will be performing, the price for the service and any parts required, the prompt reply from them via email and the information provided when they returned the injectors. I removed and installed the injectors myself.

To find out what you will be charged, you need to either ask for a price quote up front, and find out if the job requires an ASE mechanic. From my understanding, ASE mechanics are paid based on a book that says how long a job should take. If it takes 3 hours to change a clutch in a Mustang, then they get paid the labor rate times 3 hours. So if labor is $60 an hour, it will be $180 for the job. If it takes them 4 hours, they still get paid for 3 hours, and you still pay only $180 (plus the price of parts of course). If it takes them 1.5 hours, they get paid for 3 hours (and you pay the same $180). Ask around at the shop(s) you are considering for service and see if you can get some estimates.
