Please help with MSD info

I put a MSD 6AL with the revlimiter on my '86 13B. I contacted MSD Tech and the guys there didn't help much. I need to know how many wires to cut for the limiter to work. You guys familar with these boxes know what I mean. I've cut only 2 as per MSD Tech, but it doesn't seem to be working. On the 4 cylinder piston engines I've worked we always cut all 4 wires. The engine starts and runs great, so I know the box works. Thanks

If we're talking stock ignition system, a single 6AL will not work.
Either you run 6AL's (or similar) on all 3 ignition channels, or you getto rig the trailings to lose power via an RPM switch.

I should have stated what ignition I have. I'm using the wasted spark type with 3 coils. This is a setup I read about online. The guy that wrote the story has it on a Dune Buggy using a 13B. It looks funny, but seems to work.

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My question has been answered. You cut both wires. FYI there is a new guy at MSD Tech that knows rotary engines inside and out! I think is name was Dray. Super nice guy. Thanks to everyone who tried to help.

Just wanted to say this, All of the stock fuel injected rotaries run waste spark.

Just run that (1) 6AL box on the Leading waste spark coil, but like Reted said, you will have to get two relays to cut the power to the Trailing coils at your Rev setpoint, if you dont do this it will not stop reving, because the Trailing coils are still running while the MSD box has cut off the Leading

Thanks for that info.
