SHHHH....its a secret...

Exactly like that , but how does it work ? It says you can use your stock manifold..

The one I posted seems like its a bridgeport with a semi pport ......i still dont get how the side ports work.... Are they drilled into the stock intakes?
|
why doesnt anyone want to talk about this!!!
|
You need to mod your irons too so that the flow splits off. Hopefully these two pics explain it better.....

hows the power band? and why arent there more people talking about this?

I've been reading about rotaries for more then 10 years and this is the first time I've ever seen this. More info would be great.
|
According to the guy that did this it was a cheater port that was used to get past racing rules that banned p-ports.

i have more questions but maybe this pic , can explain it better

it just seems the intake manifold would be a restriction, it's overkill compared to a real peripheral port which would give real results.
more work than it's worth unless you simply have not the ability to setup a peripheral manifold. the dyno sheet is pretty respectable but it's still only going to max out well below 200 wheel horsepower, that isn't really anything noteworthy compared to the amount of fuel that thing is going to suck down and lack of bottom end response. cheater port is about the extent of it, it should add a few more HP but i wouldn't call it a night and day difference, just able to use more of each gear. |
if a monster port works i dont see why this wouldnt be better...i think this would be better that a semi pport...???

however thinking about it, there are two scenarios where this hybrid port might work, although there are some IF's. 1. IF the ports can stay with a similar area as the full PP but with less overlap, total power SHOULD go up, and it SHOULD be better at lower throttle openings too. the whole problem with a full PP is that to get adequate port area, it adds a ton of overlap. if you can do bigger port area with less overlap its always good. 2. since it uses a normal intake, maybe it'll smog? or maybe if i get pulled over and the cop pops the hood its all stock still? |

yeah a full PP 12A should do 50-60 more RWHP than that.... at about the same rpm

me neither, but it could LOOK like it passes
