hey GUys... noOb here... i just recently bought an ae86 off my friend for a very affordable price and was wondering what i can do with it...there is always the common silver/black top, 3sgte, 2jz.. but i wanted to go more different... 3 of my friend are rotoary heads... ive always envy these cars since day one.. i love the way they sound ...my friends told me that it be a good idea since the car is light.. and a coworker if mine suggested it as well...just dont know if i should go with the TII(13b ) set up or the 3rd gen(20b i think its called)...ive been doin some research and found out that its been done into an ae86 before and would like to find out what are the parts i need to change ...dont kno wmuch bout rotarybut wouldnt mind learning about it.. thats why i turn to you guys .....any suggestions are welcome whether which motor is better or what not...thanks for the feedbacks...peace

The 3rd gens use the 13B with a twin turbo charger. Nothing was shipped to North America with a 20B in it, though the engines can be bought here. There is a 20B section on this forum where you can find more info. As far as getting a rotary engine into a Trueno, you may need to check a Toyota board. The guys on this board are not just into rotary engines, they are RX-7 enthusiast, so there is limited info available when comes to getting rotary engines into other cars simple because few people on this board had done it. Usually we see people asking about putting a V8 in a RX-7, so there is some info about that, but for the car you have, you might have to look elsewhere for some help.
