new rotory lover!

hello, i have loved these cars for a long time and i just sold my mr2 turbo to purchase one....the problem is i know enough about piston motors to work on them but really nothing on rotory. i have found alot of sites to explain the basics but being the person i am i like to resurch the car all the time to find the best things to do, and to beable to work on the car myself. this seems to be a weird thing...but if anyone can help me with links to resuch the car a little deeper it would help alot.

i also have one other thing i would like to ask of people around my area(illinois) i was wondering if anyone had a blown motor that they swapped out and have lying around, mainly because i want to take it apart and learn about it. i am willing to purchase them or if you would be so kind mabe donate them to me. also have a friend who is most likely getting a rx8 (not my style i have always liked the fc :P) i am sure he would love to learn more about them before his purchase

sorry if this typing sucks i have been trying to get better but it still has alot of problems, i also want to thank you for your info, and your time.

Well, Noob, you came to the right place. First: read all of the info under Frequently Asked Questions at the top of the 2nd gen forum. You'll see that there are factory service manuals for these cars on line. Learn how to use them. You might also want to go to your local auto parts store and get a Haynes manual.

Then, start doing your homework. Read the posts in the archive section. Learn how to use the search function. Probably any question you might have has been discussed at some time or other here.

Caution though! RX-7's are instantly addictive. Use at your own risk!
