Need some serious advise..

OK well i bought my car around a month ago. It's been sitting in my garage for a good month now.
Today i wanted to go and fire her up, maybe take a spin around the block and get a nice wash.
Well 1st crank i notice the battery is low. So i start pushing her outside to get it started from another car...
Comming out of the garage (its on a hill ) i push the brakes to slow down... And... NO BRAKES!! They go right to the floor. So i put on the E-Brake and am thinking im in some serious trouble..
I take a walk around the car and notice brake fluid all over the rear passenger tire... Soooooo..

I am now left with a car sitting in my garage with what i imagine is a leaking caliper and a dead battery. I'm not to worried about the battery but what should i do about the brakes?
I need some SERIOUS advise here guys. Don't just say some horse crap like fill it up with fluid and drive to the nearest automotive shop... I'm not risking such a stupied idea...

Thanks

Got 1 last quick question to.. Do the park lights come on when you start the car even though its in the off postion? Today whaile cranking my friend said the lights were on during cranking the motor.. I thought i had left the lights off, but once i turned the key to the off postion they turned off..
I know some of the newer cars do this but my uncles 1988 GX does not...
I have a 1990 GXL BTW...

Thanks again..

If you are comfortable doing it, get a Haynes manual and read up on rebuilding the brake calipers. I did one over the summer, it was not hard at all. If you are not comfortable doing it yourself, jack the car up, take the caliper off (very easy to get off) buy a rebuild kit ($12 or so at advance auto parts, discount...etc.) and take it to a mechanic you trust.

Thanks that sounds like a good idea..
Will any Caliper rebuild work on my 1990 or does it specifically have to be for a 1990 RX-7 GXL?
Will some work off of a standard base model GX?
Anything different between the GXL and GX Calipers, and the s4-s5's?

Thanks
