need some info...

Hi,
I've decided to start a project on my 87' N/A. I want to put a turbo II engine and tranny, but I need to get some info before I start. Whats the best year engine to go with? What do I need from a turbo II to do this? Are there any sites that I could get a good engine, etc.? How much could this project cost ($4000-$5000?) Is there any problems I might run into? Am I going to need any special tools? Thanks in Advance.
Ben

I don't recommend that

I would highly recommend just going out and getting a Turbo model to start with. You can swap a drivetrain, but it WON'T SAVE YOU MONEY, and the hassle is worth avoiding in the first place. There are many parts on a turbo car that will need to be swapped. If this is for a convertible, then that is a totally worthwhile swap, but for a regular SE or GTU swap, it's not worth it. Trust me, I have owned 8 RX7's (some from each gen) and I can tell you what you will need is a lot of time and money. NOT WORTH IT! Sell your N/A and get a turbo model.
Just IMHO,
