I need a reliable 3rd gen mechanic in San Diego. Any recommendations?

Many thanks.

Hmm... since no one answered, you might want to try Rotary Reliability and Racing, but they are north of you in Santa Ana.

I can only say who to stay away from:

Do not use John Hine Mazda on penalty of death and deformed metal of your car!!!!

That's strange... a few RX-7 owners in the area said John Hine wasn't too bad, but most people told me to go to MechTech or Independent Honda/Mazda both in Escondido. My car is actually going in to MechTech tomorrow. I think they're a bit on the expensive side... I'll let you know how it goes.

Granted this was a few years ago... but

I guess I just don't expect tools left under the hood and the hood closed, denting from the inside.

Or being told that the reason my reverse light don't work is that I need a new battery.
