Need original paint codes

Does anyone have the factory paint color codes for a 94 FD? My car is white....what was the correct color code?

Thanks!

Paint Codes

Hi,

Here's what I have been able to find on Mazda color codes.

There were actually two "whites" used on RX7s in 1994.

Chaste White was the most common "white" and it was used on 622 RX7s in 1994. I believe the Chaste White color code is: PT

Reportedly there was one (read "1") RX7 painted "Pearly White" and it has been speculated that this car is sitting in the Mazda USA corporate headquarters. I believe the Pearly White color code is: YO

It has been hard for me to find reliable information on Mazda color codes and I have not been able to confirm my information with others. I welcome input from other Forum members on this matter.

Paint Color Codes

One additional suggestion for speedy1bf. After further thinking about your question, I couldn't tell if you were asking about its current color, or possibly wondering if it had been repainted a color different than it came from the factory.

You should be able to determine the color of your car as it came from the factory by looking at the label on the inside of the driver's door opening.

Look for the VIN number. Below the VIN number is a bar code. Below the bar code it should state: Body Color Code: __.

I hope I have been helpful.

Thanks

Yes, I was trying to find out if this was the original color of the car. My paint code is PT which means it is original (as I thought). However, I thought white was a pretty rare color, but the numbers I see here don't seem to rare to me....

Thx.

Link to RX7 Production Numbers

FYI

Here's the link I used to get the production numbers I shared with you. This will tell you how many cars of each color were produced each year, as well as a few more details.
