My Fd3S wont start
Hi, I just got my RX7 and sometimes my car just doesn't want to start. It would start a few times then when I turn off the car and start it back, the motor would not turn over. There is no clicking noise and the battery and alternator is still good. Could it be the main relay? If so where can I find it?

search the forums harder, and next time make your post more descriptive. your problem could be anything based on the info you gave us. how do you know your alt and battery are good, did you test them? what were the readings?
make your next post more informative so we can help you properly, thanks |
Sounds like the flux capacitor. It located by the passenger wheelwell, right behind the blinker fluid reservoir.

Is it cranking?
If you start it up then shut it down right away, it'll flood the engine. If it's not cranking, the clutch switch is a common failure. Or it could be the ignition switch. These cars are old enough that anything could be broken. |

that usually entails a complete engine rebuild if im not mistaken.(new rotors, housings, end plates, the whole nine yards.) |

How do I find the ignition switch?
Thanks for the input but I have one more question. Where do I find the ignition switch. I tried looking for the owner's manual but no luck. I only could find the downloaded version but I still couldn't find the ignition switch.

Mate you have some serious reading to do, I am not confident you made a smart choice buying an RX-7 FD.
Please read everything you can about your car before posting, you are gonna get flamed big time if you are unsure where your ignition switch is. |
:Wconfused
