My Boost gauge shows a vacuum???!!
 

What the hell is going on? Just installed the Autometer boost gauge in my unmodified FD. I hooked up the vacuum hose to the nipple on the intake. When I run a test the needle goes from 0 to the yellow showing a vacuum. Car seems to have normal power. Please help!

Perfectly normal!!!

The vacuum is due to the throttle plates being closed and the engine sucking air creating....a VACUUM!!!! Positive pressure aka boost is created by the turbos.

Should have between 15 and 17 hg. of vacuum at idle, and somewhere around 10 psi. of boost under WOT. Are you sure you have a boost gauge and not just a vacuum gauge ???

Man do I feel stupid or what?
I tested it parked in neutral before and it only showed vacuum even with high rpm.
Had to hit the road to get the boost going. Just not easy with this got damn traffic and speed limit in LA. At idle it is just above 15 and bounces around between 10-25 at low speeds before the boost kicks in with spikes just above 10. Are these spikes normal?
