More power at FC

Hello RX7 fans!

First, I want to say a big "thanks" to everybody that participates at this forum- I have founded great information in here!

To the point now:
I have a '91 FC cabrio (turbo). Everything is stock. I have dynoed it, and it gets the 202hp that mama Mazda is saying that it gets. My engine has ~50K klm (new one) and its working really fine with no problems at all. (!) :)
I would like to ask you, specialists here: how can I get more power without taking any risk. I mean, I dont want to change many things, I dont want to spent much money, and I dont care about the "best" performance. I just want some more power without taking any risk- I mean the car is fast allready! :)
Is there a way to grabb about 230~260hp with low cost and minimum danger (I reapeat- no risk if possible).
I dont want a 300+ hp monster... I dont think I need so much horsepower. If I cant get more than (lets say) 220hp without any risks, so be it! :)
Any suggestions? Any help? Please, be very specific and explainful, I am new at RX7!

Thank you very much

BTW, my name is Kostas Bevoudas and I live at Athens, Greece. My nickname is topaz_gr and I dunno why the "grandmaster-heinz" logged- not my fault... sorry pal! :))

exhaust

the best thing for u is an exhaust system from racing beat in anaheim hills, we just put 1 on a turbo II downpipe presilencer y pipe and mufflers and we got alittle over 45 hp from doing that

Performance cost money.
Trying to get cheap will usually reward you with a dead engine or very poor engine preformance.

I'm sorry, but you'll need to spend significant money, unless you have access to welding equipment and supplies.  Exhaust is the key to any rotary engine vehicle.  If you can weld it up yourself, good for you.  To prevent any bad things happening to your engine, you'll need an upgrade fuel pump, which will cost you a significant amount of money to purchase and install.  You'll also need to defeat the stock overboost fuel-cut, which requires an FCD or reprogrammed ECU.  There are plans for a homemade FCD, the this requires electrical and soldering skills.
