Mass Air Sensor
Will a faulty mass air flow sensor cause a car to run rich? If so will a mass air flow sensor from a 86 N/A work on a 87 turboII? Just a couple questions for a friend of mine with a turbo II. Thanks

Absolutely a faulty sensor will make the car run rich. Don't know if the two you mentioned are interchangeable though.

I've used a 87N/A on a 87turboii and vice versa. Could'nt tell the difference. Never ran that way more than a week. Just used them like that for a troubleshooting tool.
