Looking for a new project not sure where to start.

Looking around for a new rotor powered car. I used to own a FD and had a couple of series 1s that i enjoyed the most. I had a look around for potential donor bodies, looked at a porsche and a supra and a couple of other odd ones but the curb weights were all too high. I'm wondering if an rx8 is just the way to go. I like the idea of the more modern steering geometry, not so familiar with how much you can get out of a ren. engine or if there are any space restrictions regarding putting a say 3rd gen engine in one. Are people getting good numbers out of rx8s with turbos and porting?

I had, had a brief look at a 20b engine but they're kind of unevenly put together. I see someone had grafted some teeth into a 13b iron with grub screws, now that would be great but hell of an expensive. I still have a greddy spec 2, a PS1000 and a WI injection system waiting for a good engine.

Renesis engines aren't built for turbo , a 13b-rew or a 2nd Gen 13bt are much better, though I really am not fond of the rx8 , IMHO if you want the lightest car get a first Gen and drop a 2nd Gen motor in it, or a 3rd gen motor.

Turbo REPU would be fun...
