Hey, so I just fired my FD up only to notice a puddle of FUEL start forming under my car. I traced it back to somewhere under the rats nest by the secondary injectors where it was pooling. I already have my UIM off and I can see where it is pooling on top of the engine bit not where it is coming from. I did some research and it seems as though it might be the fuel pulsation damper that is leaking, since it is a known problem that results in similar results...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Yeah, I'm going to replace it. I'm not 100% sure that it is the problem, but it definitely seems like the culprit. I'm in the process of working my way down to it... That fucking rats nest tho. I've only broken 1 vacuum line so far and it seems like everything is in the way of getting at that dam damper. Oh and ordered a new one from Mazda... For $240....for a part that probably casts $12 to make... And will probably fail again and set my engine on fire.... Thanks Mazda!!

i doubt a new one will fail anytime soon. if you dont want to use it, you can tap and add a barb fitting. Banzai has a right up on it.

As for locating the leak, you should be able to pressure the system with the UIM off and see where the leak is coming from. That's what i did with mine.
