intake temps
Is there a gauge I can use to read intake temps? If so who makes it and what is considered to hot for a rotary?
Thanks Channon |
Any temp gauge with a range from 40F to 300F or so will work. You just need to tap it into a line after the IC somewhere and then route it into your cabin.
You are always shooting for the coldest temp possible, ambient is great, but as soon as you get past the ambient+50 mark, that is just a number I pulled out of my butt (kind of), then the IC is not doing it's job well. I hit 215 on my old motor and that was WAAAAAY high:) |
