Incurable misfire, byproduct of being street ported?
I've done everything i can think of to cure this misfire. Plugs, wires, fuel filter, coils and ignitors... But to no avail.
I read online that street porting can cause misfires, wondering if anyone can tell by this video if they think it was done at one time. There's been a lot of work done to this car, but in relation to this issue, it has RB header and full dual 3" all the way back. The video starts after having sat idling for about five minutes. Always idles at about 1100 rpm after warm up. No loss of power or surging when driving. Please let me know if there is a cure I've not tried, or if it's actually normal. |
Nobody? Need more info? Trying to figure it out asap.

you need to get the idle set correctly before you worry about it having a very slight occasional "miss" at idle. get the idle downt o about 850-900 and i bet it's smoother.

So thinking tps adjustment?
