I'm about to buy an RX-7
A friend of mine who is not really mechanically inclined is getting rid of his '86 N/A. The car doesn't run, but all it needs is a new battery, a tune-up, and a new cat to pass emissions. I'm getting the car for real cheap and I'm beginning to look into fixing it up.
Qs: What spark plugs are best for this application? What are the best spark plug Wires to get? Besides everything that is mentioned in the "common problems" article, what else should I look for? Thanks in advance. PJ |
Use the NGK's Listed for this app or Nipondenso (but they are rarer). I would not use any other for stock app.
My personell favorite plug wires are the Jacobs. They have a lifetime warrenty. But I beleive that any quality plug wire will work as well. I would put a battery in it and get it started before I paid for it, as you may be getting in deeper than you want. (ie new motor or tranny.) Just my $.02:D Scott PS good luck! |
