IGNITION: Distributor - GSL-SE TYPE - AFTERMARKET?

I am looking for an aftermarket Distributor that remakes the 85 GSL-SE distributor but has a better point setup. Some new ones out have optical triggers and what not. I thought that would make a Damn good replacement!

Cran Cams and MSD make a bunch, but none for the 13B.... Are there any other companies out there that do make one?

I don't use the CAS on my 90 Turbo II. I got a GSL-SE ignition setup with (2) MSD digital 6+ amps and (2) blaster 2 coils.

Reason: I want the timing to be locked and not adjust.

Look into a direct fire conversion that uses 3 blaster coils. This converts the leading coils to direct fire which bypasses the gap within the distributor entirely. The CAS has the direct fire system on leading and trailing. I'd recommend the CAS over a distributor anyday. In your case though if you want timing locked the modded distributor will probably be easiest. The direct fire conversion will still work. The proper way to do it would be to use a standalone ecu with the factory CAS and then just set all the timing numbers the same. Then again if you have a programmable ecu there should be no point to locking it out. I'm a little confused as to your setup. Are you using a carb? I would understand your thinking if this were the case.
