i need some schooling!

okay i have a power fc, dp, cb, intale, non-seq. my car is idleing reealy rich, rough, high. i turned the inj map all of the way down and it smoothed out a bit. when i give it gas it does the same thing all over again and i don't want to turn the whole map down that far. here is what i am thinking so tell me if i'm wrong. i just rebuilt the motor and i think that i might have gotten the injector pjugs switched on the primaries. does this sound like it might be the cause? thanks in advance.
also if it matters when the car is stumbling the omp is highlighted which means that it's malfunctioning. also it is a fd.:D one more thing. when the car was warm it would not start back up if i turned it off. thanks again.

you need to fix the omp first, other wise you will ruin your new motor. check and make sure that its plugged in first.

IT would be hard to switch inj plugs front to rear , you would have to pull the wire over and fold the other back , they should just fall in to position because the harness is stiff. not being there ,just guessing you did it correctly. more effort is required to do it incorrectly.

yeah i looked at them and they are deffinately right. i just can't figure out why there is so much unburnt fuel. there is no way that it could be so rich to warrant how far i had to turn my pfc down. i'm thinking that it may be the ignition. i'm going to start with new pluggs and wires and see if that helps. then maybe an ignition unit. thanks for the help.
