how to tell the LSD from non?
recieved a rear suspension drop in my shipment from japan, all that is marked on it is FC3S RX-7, had 5 lug hubs, does anybody know how to tell the difference between a GLX and a Turbo II LSD differiential,
any help would be appreachated, |
do a burnout with it, if the marks are equal on both sides than its LSD, but if one side dominates than its not. There probably is some way to look at it and determine, but I like the experimental way better :D

lol, good advice, but i dont want to install it to figure it out, i want to be able to tell my customer what it is before they buy it,

Well if you can install a halfshaft, or whatever it is that goes from the lsd to the wheel, then turn one they should go in the same direction. At least that is what it does on my 90 T2, which has an LSD.

i think it is a LSD, i have been told that if i turn the yoke, and both shafts turn in the same direction, it is lsd, and that is what is happening,
Thanks for the help! www.renewedimport.com |

so if i turn one axel and the other spins in the same direction, it IS LSD?
|
u got it! it's the spider gears in the non-lsd that make them turn opposite directions.
|
thanks, i will give that a shot tomorow,
