How to reset Wideband

Hey guys,

Recently my Innovative wideband has been going nuts. It just jumps from 20 to 7 back and fourth really fast and it does this the whole time even if i just turn the car on or if it's been running.

It started one day after i pushed the button on the gauge 3 times and it said "RES" and then immediately started going nuts.

I have tried the same method with the car off and it will still do the same. Now I have just traced the wire threw my car and unplugged the connection so now it just reads ---.

I don't know much about the system because it was installed by the previous owner, He did not have much info. All I know is there is the innovative gauge one wire with a serial port on the end and another wire that I unplugged . It was a male female connection, I was going to follow the rest of the wire to see if it lead to a control box of some kind but it was ran under the carpet on the passenger side and i did not feel like removing everything.

Any advice? is there generally a control box somewhere or what?

Thanks

The instructions that come with it tell how to reset it.
When I installed mine I put a button in the glovebox to do that, next to the datalogit.
