How to clean a wide band lambda sensor

I just pulled my wideband lambda sensor from my downpipe and found it was pretty black.

The car is currently on a base tune as I'm converting to single so fuel is off.

With what can i clean the sensor? as I guess it's quite sensitive

Water? brake cleaner? petrol?

paper? cloth? old toothbrush? paint brush?

some brake cleaner should do the trick.

Im planning on getting the above wideband monitor because my o2 sensor is bent,
Do you need to weld in a new bung for the new wideband sensor or does it just replace your existing o2 sensor?
Thanks

My car is an FD and the OEM lambda sensor position is to short to the turbo's;

So yeah, mine needed a new bung to be welded in near the downpipe to midpipe flange.

in case of the Innovative kits, a new bung is always in the kit

Carb cleaner or brake parts cleaner. My first choice would be carb cleaner as it's used on fuel system components and less hazardous to the sensor...

ya man use brake cleaner. Me 2 I have an LC-1 and I use brake cleaner and a dry clean cloth to clean it up and slap it back in.

brake cleaner would be your best bet if your using it just for driving around. If your using it to tune get a new one.
