how to change spark plugs?
 

I need to deflood my fd and have no idea where the spark plugs are/how to change them. thank you for any advice

Ive also tried the egi fuse trick and that didnt work

Follow the plug wires..
change them one at a time.

They're on the left side of the engine block, looking from the driver's seat, below the throttle body.

The two on the bottom are the leading plugs (L1 and L2 from front to the back).

The two on top are the trailing plugs (T1 and T2).

The plugs with the higher number (9) and the blue stripes go on the top (higher is colder. they need to be colder because you do NOT want the trailing plugs causing detonation).

You should go ahead and take the intake elbow off because it's a pain to reach the plugs without doing this.

If you only want to deflood your car you can probably get away with just doing the leading plugs, which are the most important ones. You also can't screw up the cords because they fire at the same time, so it doesn't really matter which way they go on.

Whatever you do, don't put on the trailing cords backwards.

You really need to get yourself a copy of the service manual. They are available for free online as a PDF.

I generally get at my plugs by placing the car up on 4 jack stands and then come up from underneath. There is a fairly large access hole under the drivers side of the engine and you can plainly see the plugs and wires without an issue.
I am pretty sure you could do it with just the front jacked up and SAFELY secured on good quality jackstand's.
Whenever I put my car up for service it always sits on 4 stands and everything is easily accessible.
