hesitation on S5 TII...not the grounds

Thanks for looking, and I hope this doesn't make anyones head explode. Basically, I'm having some random RPM misfiring, both low end and high end. Typically 1-3k and about 6-8.5k you can feel a lot of break up and power loss. The car is an S5 NA with an S5 TII power plant swapped in. I ran the car for 2 years with no problems with all N370 components except I used an N353 Ecu. Now I have an N370 Ecu so everything is US Spec S5 TII and we have the break up issue. My check engine light doesn't work or come on at all so I can't pull any codes, I figure taking it to Neptune Speed would be a good idea because they have the RXDOCK Factory tester guy. Modifications are all very simple, intake, exhaust, ported waste gate, and a blitz bov. My best guess is that running it with the NA Ecu has messed with the timing and possibly the TPS settings. I can't say for sure but what I think needs to happen is the engine needs to be retimed with the N370 Ecu, and the TPS may need adjustment. None of this stuff I'm handy enough to do myself but I would still appreciate any input on the matter. I plan on taking the beast up to Neptune Speed sometime next month but hey who knows maybe I can fix it myself

***If anyone has a good S5TII tps and is local I will buy you lunch or a case of beer to test it out on my car***

No dice huh?

one more piece of information, the trailing coil is firing but the tach is dead and when I wired an aftermarket tach into the bullet connector tester plug on the trailing it didn't fire either. I'm at a loss!!

I am having the same issue with my S4 NA though. it really sucks and usually i know how to fix most 2nd issues but this one i cant figure out.

swap out the ECU for a Different one..try pulling out codes from that one...
might be your OMP;;;\\

redline it...clean it out..

Haha been through 3 ecu's. I'm starting to suspect the harness that goes to the starter and cas and all that.

I should probably just run a stand alone to eliminate all the possible causes for issues but...kinda sucks this stuff happens with a mostly stock set up though :(

id say check for power to the 12v+ of the trailing, also you can check the continuity of the wires between the cas s and the ecu using a multi meter to make sure that all the connections are gravy, also i was having issues where i had advanced the timing to much and it had this wierd random idle that would hunt and never seem to smooth out. just re stab the crank angle sensor and set the timing. also you can build that lil radio shack tps testing device, or borrow mine since im in the area. if you need help with putting in work son let me know! plus that hobby shop at miramar is BITCHIN
