Help Mee

AAAAAAHHHHH!!! I think im gonna pop a blood vessel, and no im not on the toliet. My R1 is being a stubborn child. Im constantly getting the coolant buzzer come on. Ok.. each morning for the past few days ive popped the hood and added coolant... Not 2 minutes after i start driving... BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I just changed the thermostat... helped for a good day of fun driving :D I think it is getting worse... could it be the water pump?? Possibly, i hope... Help me please.... I thought the AST was cracked and leaking... NOPE. I think it might be a pressure issue cause the overflow tank gets most of my coolant.. Why cant it just share? Anyways please tell me its not the engine... tell me its just the waterpump...

ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?

if there is no extenal leak(system may need to be pressurized to check) then the leak is internal(o-ring). water pump has a weep hole and will leak if worn out. look for any visible signs of water at all hoses, radiator, and heater core. any even small leaks may cause car to overheat. radiator caps can also leak and cause a loss of coolant. if you still can't find it have a good shop pressurize the system to find the leak.

coolant

Put a new OEM rad cap on it and the problem will go away. Pressure is moving the coolant to the res.

I fixed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D WEEP HOLE MY ARSE!!!! Anyways i changed the water pump :D I love you mazdatrix and overnight shipping. I have just under 70k miles.... I think the water pump is the main culprit of all the buzzer shiet. I've been driving at least 4 months with a "faulty" water pump. SYMPTOMS: Buzzer.... occassional rise in temp to the line before red then it falls back down... Buzzer is usually sporadic. I think if you let it go for too long it Fk's up the thermostat cause i changed that too as it got worse. Turns out its the damn pump.
