Headers
Does anyone know what kind of headers would be best for a 1985 12A. The only ones i have been able to find are made by Pacesetter. Are these any good or should i look elesware. thanx..

Pacesetters do not have the best reputation. I'd steer clear.
Mindtrain makes a good affordable setup, and of couse the refrence standard is Racing Beat. Top of the line is SDJ. KickyRide sells the Mindtrain stuff. http://www.kickyride.com/perfmain.html It has the added avantage of bolting straight up to your stock exhaust. http://www.racingbeat.com/PHOTOS/16010.jpg Racing Beat is considered the best value, as it's good performer and not TOO expensive. www.racingbeat.com Be awae the RB setup does NOT bolt straight up to the stock exhasut system. You'll need to get your local muffler shop to make a short connecting pipe for you. SDJ is generally considered the best but is expensive. They are custom built for each order. Their website seems to be down, but they're sold over e-bay instead. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAZDA...temZ7996973328 http://www.nopistons.com/forums/gall...4_70_15586.jpg |
What about for a 88 N/A rx7?
by the way this is my first post...... Hi. |
Welcome!
The same applies to all N/A RX's:D If you got the cash, the SDJ is the way to go. If you're looking to drop a header on your stock exhasut, grab a MindTrain. If you want an affordable, quality complete ehxaust, go with the Racing Beat... |
