Having Issues!!!!

Ok so I have an n/a s4 base model...got the car for free with a blown motor. I sourced another n/a s4 full swap which I KNOW FOR A FACT was in full working order before pulled from my buddy's car. So my friend and I pulled the blown motor out and dropped the new one in. Before putting the new one in, we cleaned it up reeeeaaaallllly well, and deleted pretty much all the stupid emissions bs. So we put the swap in, get everything plugged up.....and we have issues. The motor turns over... and that is it. We have no spark, and there is no power to the dash at all(only thing functioning on the dash is the voltmeter), no power to headlights, or taillights. We've determined that the fuel pump is shot so...thats the only diagnosis on fuel delivery so far.....SOMEBODY please HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Check for the correct grounds being hooked up for the loss of electrical power.

Make sure the 40 amp EGI INJ fuse in the Engine fuse box is good as it powers the coils in addition to the injectors. The Black/Yellow wire at the leading coil should have battery voltage w/key to on. Also, make sure the 15 amp Engine fuse in the interior fuse box is good. If the Main Relay clicks w/key to on then the Engine fuse is good.

For the headlights make sure the 30 amp Head fuse is good as well as the 15 amp Illumination fuse.

my friend and i have some pretty extensive experience between us with doing motor swaps and such but we are both new to the rotary scene.....but i do believe that we have all of the grounds.

the harness we are using came with the swap we got, so yea it is a different harness. being that we deleted egr, omp, and almost every vacuum line and all that gayness we have some unused plugs....

so you stripped emissions from an n/a model where they served a purpose other than weighing down the car and now it has issues.. sorry but i'm not helping anymore when people disregard common sense with these cars.

all that work results in a slower car with erratic idle that smells like a gas station.

check the 80 amp fuse and the black connector below the fuse box in the engine bay.
