Debating picking up a water temp, a/f and boost gauge. think its worth dishing out the money for? even if they are metric?

whats a good set of inexpensive gauges?

Dont get A/F, as it isjust a light show. Autometer makes some low priced gauges.

I asked this awhile back and didn't get a good answer. They don't look bad, but I wonder how accurate they are.

Stay away from that Made-in-Taiwan shit.

Ever checked his feedback?
The key is to ignore all the positive ones and look at the negative ones.
Read between the lines.

Looked at all the other stuff that the seller currently has on eBay?
Squint real hard, and it smells like ssautocrap...cheap labor, SE Asian, poor quality.

Hell, I'd even recommend Autometer over this gamble.
At least Autometer is Made in USA! :D

Nexus is BANK!
They look really nice, but for the money, I'd rather invest in some Japan gauges.
Hell, it could even be a down payment on the MoteC ADL with backlight!

I dunno man, I think Nexus gauges are damn sexy! Name a cheaper good looking electronic gauge and I will definitely consider it :)

On the other hand, I can get some Defis but they cost just as much. Motec would be nice but talk about bank lol. I forget, is that the self tuning one?

However if that's too expensive, take a look at my setup. I've got an LC1 feeding the narrowband gauge so the actual readout reflects the wideband equivalent. I still need to mark where AFRs like 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 are so I can have a closer reference. From what I was reading you can program the LC1's output. So in theory I could have this gauge only display A/F ratios from 15 to 10 giving me a really wide visual range to identify where my actual A/F ratios are. Anything higher than 12.5 at full boost should scare me, so I could just make everything on the left side of center (marked as stoich) be over 12.5 and everything on the right side be under 12.5 and as long as I'm in the rich area it should be good (near 11-12 afr.

Couldn't they have put a big speedo on there too. I just think it is incomplete looking, and yeah I know it displays speed at the bottom. I just think it should have a 300 mph speedo on there, shoot you could even make it a digital speedo. Otherwise custom sunk in the dash it looks awesome.

Wow I've never seen anything like that Defi. Looks amazing but I can only imagine how much something like that goes for.
