Gauge Cut Out. 3800 rpm related???

Ok, seems likeI only come here with problems.
I'm driving an 87' FC.
My gauges cut out one night wile driving normaly. Temp. oil batt. volt. and RPM's.
Speedo's Ok because thats mechanical. I replaced the gauge fuse which had blown, but it fried it on start up. I drove it to my mechanic and he got it working. I picked it up and on the way back to my house I accelerate to check how it's doing. When I hit 3800 rpm's my gauges cut again. Now I know this is related to that ground problem with the rx7's. I checked the fuse and instead of a 7.5 fuse my mechanic had used a 10 for the gauges. I'm not sure wich ground to fix. I noticed a loose ground by my mufler when I installed my new exhaust, but I don't know if thats the problem or it's something else. On annother post I read that the ground by the exhaust manifold is part of the 3800 cut out. I still just not sure what to do. I need those gauges. I'm about to get a tune up, inector cleaning, oil change to royal purple. So if anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix it, please let me know.

Thanks.
Also, it this thread is moved, ket me know.

Thanks again, RX7 Tokyo
