Fuel pressure regulator
I just noticed that my stock fuel pressure regulator vacuum line was connected to a port on the upper intake manifold that was plugged up with JB weld. So without vacuum would that cause a rich or lean fuel condition? It would smell heavy of fuel and my afr’s were all over the place the last few times I drove it.

its supposed to be 40psi base fuel pressure + 0psi manifold pressure = 40 psi across the injectors.
since it didn't see a signal, it would do this 40psi fuel pressure + at idle -18psi manifold pressure = 22psi fuel pressure, but since yours wasn't working you would have 40psi and be rich 40psi fuel pressure + 15psi boost = 55 psi fuel pressure, but since yours only saw zero, you would have 40psi and be lean when you are cruising, and manifold pressure is around zero, it would be correct, so it should run ok there |
