Fuel delivery issue. I think.

In the process at converting to E85. My regular pump gas tune would have my car searching for an idle a bit and an irregular idle afr pattern anywhere from high 11's to 14-15ish--rich to lean, rich to lean. Would run well however and hold a solid afr under load.

Then we put in e85 and the searching and surging AFR's (going sometimes into the 20's afr..) are muuch more prominent. To the point where the car will start and run, but will not rev, will not hold an idle at all. We added 33% more fuel to compensate for the E85.

The important part of the above is that it was searching for an idle before E85, just not as bad (needed much less fuel.) So to me it seems as though my issues is of a mechanical nature and the need for extra fuel has just amplifies the issue.

To me, it seems like its simply my car unable to maintain sufficient fuel pressure. My current setup is Walbro 255, stock lines, pulsation dampener, 550pri, 1660sec, Haltech e6x.

I have a banjo bolt on order to eliminate pd. I also have a aeromotive FPR to install once I have the barbed fittings to connect to my stock lines. Hopefully to be installed this week-however, I don't know that these are the issues.

I guess I am just looking for other recommendations of what this could possibly be. Any input would be appreciated. Also, please do not make this a discussion of e85 or the banjo bolt.

Thanks,
Casey
