Cart Price Check Part:20-1800-JE27

didn't look hard enough i suppose. the mazda dealer should also be able to order one.

many people just delete it with a banjo bolt.

What's a banjo bolt

K got yea but if I need a Pulsation-Damper and I used a banjo bolt would that cause problems because its getting just straight flow

RotaryEvolution 03-17-13 02:37 PM

i have never seen it cause a problem.

Bradp 03-18-13 03:31 PM

Doesn't the pulsation damper / fuel regulator give a certin flow of fuel instead of just a straight flow???

RotaryEvolution 03-18-13 03:56 PM

the pulsation dampener is not a fuel pressure regulator, it absorbs pulsations caused by the injectors opening/closing. the pressure regulator is at the end of the system(it also absorbs pulsations).

Don't I needed it thoe or what is the purpose of it

santorkyle 03-19-13 09:06 AM

I just looked at my FPD and mine is at the top rail (I guess because I have a japanese motor swap) and the cover was missing already and the screw is not in there, would this cause a running issue at all?

Customisbetter 03-19-13 09:22 AM

^Yes

Uninstall that and banjo bolt it or replace it.

Bradp 03-19-13 09:36 AM

So can I banjo bolt mine without and problems or replace the part with a new one

Customisbetter 03-19-13 10:05 AM

Exactly. I am banjo bolted along with thousands of others with no problems. Or you can remember to replace the dampener every few years.

santorkyle 03-19-13 04:08 PM

I went to every gosh darn place in town and half the people didn't even know what I was talking about and the others that did said they don't carry the m12x1.25 banjo bolt I need, guess I'll have to try and order one online.

Customisbetter 03-19-13 04:10 PM

Banzai racing has them in the right size. You could also try a plumbers supply place. I happened to have one right by my job and they had the stuff or could order it.

also called a 'hydraulic' or 'hose shop'.

hardware stores will just laugh at you.

Summit Racing sells the Earl's part for about $7. I got the p/n from FC3SPRO.com

Try here for instruction on how to eliminate the pulsation dampener.
