FOS (Fear of Stalling)
Hello everyone! I’m once again considering purchasing an RC7 (after losing all my hope) and have a question. So I know you’re not supposed to stop the engine if t hasn’t been running very long because it could flood. I learned how to drive stick (in a piston engine) and I’m pretty good at it; I only stall every here and then. My question is what would happen if I were to stall in a rotary. Would my amateur shifting pose too much of a risk for flooding? Thanks! |

Until you get very good with it I would just let it run for ~ 10 mins before heading out somewhere that way you have less of a chance of flooding it.
