flywheel removal (nut is out)

I know this topic is cover million times, don't tell me to search,
I read all the post already
I am working on a 12A, flywheel nut is pretty easy to take off, only took 5 sec and nut came out, but the flywheel is likes stuck inside,
I tried the flywheel puller , slide hammer , pry ,hammer, use the torch etc........
I still can't get it off , anyone has the similiar problem?

well, if you've used a torch and a hammer already, then it's safe to assume that you don't care about the flywheel.

Hit the flywheel/e-shaft joint with PB Blaster every hour for a day, and then let it sit overnight.

Take a good sized hammer (3lb drilling, 4lb mini-sledge) and tap right around the rim of the flywheel, with your blows directed on the face of the flywheel. Hit it much like you're tightning lug bolts on a 5 lug car, in a star pattern. This should loosen the flywheel enough to allow you to wiggle it off.

If this doesn't work, then heat the flywheel around the e-shaft and tap the rim lik eyou did before.

You try putting bolts through the holes in the flywheel?

You're not hitting it hard enough.
You need to hit like the ANGRY FIST OF GOD.

I've done it with a *regular* hammer...

I'm sure this is horrible, but to remove mine I wedge a pickle fork/tie rod tool in between the flywheel and where the tranny bolts to and the top of the motor. Hit the fork with a hammer, turn flywheel, repeat.

REted is right step one get the largest hammer you have step two if you care put a towl /rag around the head. w/ the nut on four or five twist down so it doesnt' fly 10 feet back give it a whack like guts from beserk if you dont' get it get someone with more (brass) I almost always get it with a single thud.

I've only taken the flywheel off with the engine out, and a few hard blows with the biggest sledgehammer in the garage and it was off.

I got mine out by putting a demo bar between the engine block and the back of the flywheel, with a towel on the engine side. Put the nut about 4-5 threads on, and wedge the bar there. Smack bar with hammer. If flywheel doesnt move, repeat BFH treatment.

Thats how I got mine off at least. And as far as ive read, thats the uh, prescribed treatment. At least the BFH is. I added the crowbar.

Now that you beat the shit out of it with a hammer, just remember that the thrust bearing set up is now beat to shit too. Not saying "shame on you", cuz Ive had to remove them that way as well, just remeber to replace it when you put her back together.

Just for future reference did try a flywheel puller, get it tight, then hit it with a hammer?? I had to do that to mine. The puller wouldn't work, and the hammer wouldn't work, so I did both and it popped right off.
