Flooding??

Hey everyone, I have a 86 FC rx7 n/a. Just recently it has started flooding on start up. This began to happen after I went to summernights cruise one night. Everyone races and drives hard there (I even smoked an s5 after he said his engine had more horsepower) =)

Usually this happens after a long drive, like on the freeway for 20 minutes at 3-4 grand. Whenever I go to start it up after this or in the morning it just goes directly to 0 rpm and shuts off or the flywheel keeps it going. Usually when this happens I have to hold the throttle valve open a little and it does fine like its running to rich or something? But whenever I drive for 5 minutes or so it does just fine until I shut it off and it sets for over 5 minutes.

It surely isnt the coils because it does great at 3000+ rpm. I recently put an fd alternator on it so its not that (got an amazing deal from Japan2La). I am thinking about changing the plugs because they have been on there a while and are probably fouled but I'm definately going to check them first. I know it could be leaky injectors but if anyone can make a really good guess or just knows then please tell me and I will update you when I get this problem fixed. In case other people have the problem.

Thank you,
Matt

I'm putting in brand new ngk plugs today. I'll update on the status but please give any suggestion you can think of. Im more of a reciprocating engine mechanic but I love the feel of driving a rotary.

If anyone even cares.. Put the plugs in and it didnt help any. Next I'm gonna check the BAC cause I dont have a compression gauge.

Okay just disregard the whole issue like everyone has done.. I fixed the vacuum leak when it became blatanly obvious from the noise under the hood. Glad this forum is so helpful and I recieved so much help..
