few questions to ask...

if a 3rd gen rx7 is running a downpipe to race cat to full exhaust, do you have to re-flash the ecu or do anything to it?

if so, does the fc commander work as a piggy to the ecu (like a vafc?) but obviously more versatile in tuning?

I have a turbo si (sold as of wed.) i run a 38mm wastgate from the manifold, ive seen the turbo manifolds online for the 3rd gens that setup the same but is it only for a single turbo setup?

thats about it for now, im just asking these questions because i'm very close to getting into a 3rd gen fd and just needed to clear some of these things up...the guy who i might b buying the fd has a manual override switch for the cooling fans..i think he sed if he leaves them off and the car is idling for more then 20min it will start to over heat, is that normal due to the car having stock radiator, intercooler, piping, etc?

also car doesnt have heat...how do i get that back in?

im getting the car for a steal price, guy doesnt drive it and needs garage space for his new benz...selling the car for 9gs..i think ive posted pics before, its red dropped on tein susp. 18in ADRs, 99 tails, hks exhaust, Down pipe, cat, and hks BOV...engine and tranny have 40k on em body has 153k...sound like a deal?

if he's got the stock ECU, downpipe, cat, and exhaust will probably be too much and you'd risk running lean. Get a power FC. The base mod map should be able to compensate the extra flow no prob.

My twins are running non-sequentially, and when I put my exhaust on (downpipe only other mod), sometimes under full boost it would lean out. Got the Power FC, never leans out, runs perfectly.
