Fd idle problem

car is 100% stock, had 8psi primary and 4 psi secondary, tested every solenoid, actuator and checked every hose. all were ok.

so decided to put a straight pipe and now its all fine...it was spiking at 14 psi but drilled the pills right away and now its a perfect 10psi. is there something else i should do?

the idle is and was always funky it settles from 700-1200rpm depending on what it feel like, tried adjusting from the throttle stopper and from under the elbow, with and without grd and ten jumped at 850rpm.... it would set but once its driven it would do the same again

any input would be appreciated, thanks

Do you still have your airpump installed? I would assumed you removed it with the addition of the midpipe.

no i did not but i unplugged it...will that do?

On the stock ECU, that will cause your idle to be lumpy. Unless you have a programmable ECU, you'll need to increase the idle to around 1100 rpms for it to even out with the airpump disconnected.
