FD alternator hookup

Hi. Im mounting a FD engine in my FC and are making new wiring.

So far I´ve connected a new wire from the battery to the starter motor, and from the starter motor to alternator B terminal and the fuse box.

Now I wonder how to connect the S terminal to battery positive. Should I run a new wire all the way back to the battery (its behind the passenger seat) or can I connect it to the starter/ B terminal wire or the fusebox?

Also, can I leave the L terminal not connected?

Thanks
/Kalle

i wish i had the answer to your question, but sadly, i'd have to defer to someone with more knowledge of your pickle ... okay, that sounded way more perverted than i intended :) ...

anyway, what i can do is tell you if you don't get an answer here in a few days, then maybe post your question in the Gen II section as i'm sure other have done this swap. in the meantime, you may want to spend some time poking around the Gen II section to track down the members that have done it.

also, i know it's not the same generation, but i think the members z-beater and kevinbtz (sp?) have Gen I cars with REW swaps. so check out their threads, too.

good luck.
