fd 13b in an fc....what is involved

i am going to sell my fd and keep the motor and tranny and pick up an fc. should i get a t2 or na or does it matter? what else should i look to take out (very important question)? any specific electronics? i did a search but came up with nothing because i didn't ave 3 letter words(?), does anyone have a website that shows an installation a fd 13b to a fc and what is needed?

and for anyone that wants to know why i am going from an fd to an fc is because i can't afford the fd, for a car that i drive 3 months out of the year and have to pay an incredible price for insurance (and finace) it is not worth it. the problem is ever since i learned about rotaries i can't stop thinking about it and always want to uprgrade, but can't afford to. i can purchase an fc use it as a project car (build over time), not have to put insuranace on it till its built and get the same reults as my fd without the looks.

if anyone wants a fd body, i will sell it soon, after i learn more about what i am trying to do.

the reason you havent found anything is because there are about 2-3 people who have done this. the mounts between the fc and fd are totally different, you have to make your own mounts. the twin turbo's will fit in the chassis, but why would you bother? it would be much easier to buy a turbo 2 and modify that engine

Or even go with a 13B-RE which has twin turbos.. And has mounts avaliable..

I am dong this conversion at present..
but I am using a COSMO 13B-REW.

Also my engine is being fully race prepped so it will use a 13B-T center plate..

I did look at getting the mounts fabricated it's easy!.
but I'm not sure how it would go with the Twin turbo setup as I am using a Single TA45.

also the gearbox X-member is different between the models.. so that will have to be fabricated.

I don't know what engine configuration you are using but if it's anything like mine it's an easy operation to perform
