FC NA doesnt react on key contact

Hey guys i have an 86 NA FC, had a little problem with it once where it suddenly turned off as if i took oit the key, nothing worked, only the headlamp switch, and the hazard lights. I tried removing the battery for 10 minutes, and checked the fuses under the hood, it all seemed okay, but nothing really helped. After life 15 minutes all the electricity came back and i could start the car again. Then i changed the main switch and it seemed to solve the problem. Now i just went grocery shopping and when i came back i couldnt start the car again. It just flips up the headlamps when i turn the key, and down again when i turn the key the other way around. What can the problem be? Noticed that this mainly happens when its like really cold outside, i dont know if it has anything with it to do... but please help because my car is left in the parking lot :/

What main switch did you change? And w/key to on do the wipers or turn signals work? If not then you likely have issues w/the ignition switch.

W/key to on the B/W wire on the front harness should have power at the ignition switch in the two wire plug of the switch which houses a Black wire and the B/W wire in question.
