RX7Club.com - Mazda RX7 Forum - FC Engine harness/Injector question

I've got 2 sets of injectors, both sets have part number 195500-1370. One set has maroon tops (came with the car) have the notch offset, the other set Gray tops (came with a J-Spec motor) have the notch centered. Both are rectangular plugs, and balanced nicely to about 550cc after cleaning by RC Engineering.

My problem: I bought a NEW main engine harness last fall, and upon removal of my original harness this past weekend I noticed that the connector plugs are RED. The new harness connectors are GRAY. Worse yet, the notch is centered in the new harness. No problem I thought, I'll just swap the injectors, but now I'm thinking these may be low impedence. My originals are high impedence, I know that. And I now know that the gray injectors are low impedence :mad: I'd bet I got a J-Spec harness from, well, let me call them before I flame them.

So, am I pretty much SOL here? I read a while back that it may be possible to build a resistor block to use the low impedence injectors in place of the highs, I'll search for that thread. Could I change the connector ends on the new harness as another option? Any ideas where to get those? As it's been 6 months since I bought the harness, and it's now modified with my fuel cut defender and S-AFC spliced in, returning it is now out of the question. The original harness is really shot-- I still have it, but many connectors are disintegrating, many wires are losing insulation due to age, heat, etc. Putting this back in is not really an option. The injector connectors are also pretty much trashed as well, so I can't see salvaging those either.
